On April 21st I took multiple shots of the progress of the project from the high grounds east of the site from several angles.
I posted 43 images on Google Picasa including 2 of the site prior to construction starting (it was a beautiful sight).

I can so appreciate how water all flows into this area of the Morraine from the higher lands that surround it (I was standing on part of it).
The plant has a long way to go in its construction. But I can see the footprint it will leave in this fine community. It really is a shame. The stacks and generator building will be several stories high and obscure the natural beauty even more.
But most importantly, its negative effects on the health and safety of Ansnorveldt, Holland Landing, Newmarket, Bradford and others will be felt for decades to come.
